INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING

CSP is a high-quality, relational environment that recognizes and values who the stakeholders are and the relationships among them that contribute to each person’s quality of life;

CSP provides 100% community integration, the least restrictive environment;

CSP ensures the inclusion of client choice throughout the program day and in the many facets of their day, such as: staff, peer group, monetary, activity and location choices, options regarding pace of their day, change their day, and have personal space to recover and regain inclusion into their preferred environment;

CSP Community-Access funds are utilized for our program participants to meaningfully access community resources and pursue community integration and self advocacy goals. Because we do not have a building, funds are freed from site-based overhead costs.

Program flexibility is another unique aspect of CSP services. Flexible programming is a support that enables us to meet the unique needs and desires of individuals. Flexible programming provides stability in times of duress and enables individuals to maintain continuity of participation in a way that still contributes to their growth and well-being. Individuals who have flexible options do not have to experience traditional, rigid or pre-set structures or expectations.

With a 1:3 staffing ratio, CSP staff are able to provide flexible responses to ongoing and momentary needs or wants. Plans, activities, staffing ratios, time constraints and other external demands can be adjusted in order to respond effectively and immediately to the situation at hand.

Flexible programming creates powerful opportunities for staff and participants to create meaningful, individualized choices for pursuing a wide range of community activities while meeting individual needs and wants.
